About the consultation

The Federal-Provincial-Territorial Committee on Drinking Water is updating the drinking water guideline for bromate. As part of this review, a consultation process is taking place.

This consultation is being done to get feedback on:

Based on the feedback received, the Guideline Technical Document on Bromate in Drinking Water will be updated.

The consultation comment process

Guideline technical documents are developed with the help of our provincial and territorial partners, through the federal-provincial-territorial committee.

Provinces and territories are responsible for drinking water quality in their areas.

Your comments will be shared with the appropriate committee member, along with your name and job position. If you do not want this information shared, please indicate this when you submit your comments.

All comments and suggestions must be received before February 5, 2016.

Please read this consultation document and submit your comments to the Committee on Drinking Water Secretariat.
