Product description
This recall involves the foldable SC-2B, 2 Step Household Ladder with non-rust powder coated finish, non-slip plastic tips and sponge back rest with a capacity of 225 lbs.
The step ladder can be identified by the UPC 771448524617 and item number Item #4468443.
Hazard identified
The bottom step may not be able hold up to the stated 225 lb capacity, causing the step to bend and potentially collapse, posing a fall hazard to the user.
Neither Federated Cooperatives Ltd. nor Health Canada are aware of any injuries associated with the use of this product.
Number sold
Approximately 205 ladders may have been distributed at Co-op stores in Western Canada.

The product was sold between February 8, 2014 and May 16, 2014.
