Product description
This recall involves Hampton Bay Traditional Patio Swing with Canopy Model #: GSS00210A, UPC: 848681045091; SKU: 1000847087.
Hazard identified
A support rod connecting the swing to the frame (the front boom support- part K) can snap/break when consumers swing in a side to side motion, instead of the swing’s intended front to back motion. The chair can fall to the ground and result in injury to the consumer.
Hampton Bay has received one consumer incident of incident or injury in Canada. Health Canada has not received any incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Approximately 671 swings were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled swings were sold at Home Depot from February 1, 2016 – June 17, 2016.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled swings, and to return the recalled product to Home Depot of Canada Inc. for a full refund.
Consumers can contact Home Depot of Canada Inc. by telephone at 1-888-628-1888, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST, and Saturday between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, or by email.
