Hazard identified

Health Canada's testing demonstrates that some of the colours used on one of the products contain lead in excess of the allowable level as per the Hazardous Products Act. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. No injuries or illness have been reported to LC Creations.

Although Health Canada testing has identified only one of these furniture lines as containing excess lead, LC Creations and HomeSense have taken the precaution of removing all of these products from retail shelves, not just the one tested.

If the products are not returned, consumers are urged to carefully disassemble the products and dispose of the parts in separate bags or containers in waste disposal so that the products cannot be reused.
