Reason
Following numerous international warnings and product recalls regarding toothpastes manufactured in China which were found to contain unacceptable levels of diethylene glycol (DEG), Health Canada undertook a market survey of Chinese toothpastes at the retail level across Canada. This product was found to pose an unacceptable risk to health as it does not have market authorization and is not labelled in English and/or French as per the Food and Drugs Act and its associated Regulations.
