Hazard identified
The Mexx Kids products listed above are being recalled due to their lead content. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
No complaints or injuries have been reported to date.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled items away from children.
Consumers may return the following recalled items to any Mexx store by August 15, 2008 for a full refund: girl's wax cord necklace (item# HH707F and GH662F); boy's wooden beaded necklace (item# JC656F); girl's corduroy fashion bag (item# CH800F); and girl's jeans fashion bag (item# HH806F).
Consumers may return the remaining items listed in the table above to any Mexx store by June 15, 2008 for a full refund.
Mexx will offer a $5 gift card to all consumers returning these items.
