Product description

This recall involves Rub-A-Dub Shaving in the Tub shaving set which contains a 7 oz. (200 g) can of foaming body soap, a plastic play razor, a shaving brush, comb and mirror. The recall applies to the foaming body soap, which lacks hazard labelling. The recalled product is identified by the UPC number 731346061515.

Hazard identified

Health Canada has established that the foaming body soap does not have mandatory labelling required under Canadian law.

The product lacks the symbol and warnings required for potentially explosive products. The lack of labelling information including appropriate warnings could lead to serious risks.

Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of the foaming body soap.

Approximately 1,503 units of the recalled products are known to have been sold at various stores across Canada.
