This recall involves under-cabinet lights that were manufactured by Extra Lighting Manufacturing Limited and have the model number ALFT4-24-4100.

The following information can be found on a white paper label on the product:

Made in China / Fabrique en Chine

There is also an uncertified UL label on the product with the UL logos and the following information:

Hazard identified

The lighting units may overheat, posing a fire hazard. The recalled devices have not been evaluated for safety by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) and are not eligible to bear the UL mark.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this device.
