This recall involves a black mini glue gun by Chateau Manis. The product has a counterfeit cUL label on it. The packaging has "Chateau" and model number GG-1013. The manufacturer is listed as "C.M.E.I. Kirkland, Quebec" on the packaging.
Hazard identified
The recalled products have not been evaluated for safety against any Canadian standards and bear an unauthorized UL (Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) mark. The products may pose safety hazards to users.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these glue guns.

The number of recalled products sold in Canada is not known.

The recalled products were sold from December 2005 to February 2006.
