Product description
This recall involves Organic Natural Charm baby sleepers, labelled as rompers, only in size large. The sleepers are made of 100% cotton and come in five colours:
- Blue (UPC 7735732901)
- Pink (UPC 7735733901)
- Brown (UPC 7735735901)
- Black (UPC 7735736901)
- Natural (UPC 7735738901)
The recalled sleepers also have CA23108 written on a white tag attached to them.
Hazard identified
The size large version of the recalled sleepwear does not meet the design and flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Children's sleepwear that is loose fitting or that has loose edges can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more easily than tight-fitting sleepwear. Once ignited the sleepwear can burn rapidly and cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body, resulting in shock and sometimes death.
Neither Health Canada nor Bechimex has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this sleepwear.

Approximately 300 of the recalled sleepers (size large) were sold at a variety of retail stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from January 2009 to December 2010.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately take the recalled product away from children and return them to the store where it was purchased to receive a store credit.
