Product description
This recall involves Dr. Bob Dentel Antibacterial Mouthwash. The peppermint flavoured mouthwash is a blue coloured liquid and can be identified by item number 0102579. The mouthwash was sold in a 450 mL (15.2 oz) clear plastic bottle with a white cap. Only those units without a lot number are included in this recall.
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada has determined that the product is contaminated with the bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens. Pseudomonas fluorescens may cause abscesses if introduced into open wounds, and may have more serious complications in people with weakened immune systems.
Neither Health Canada nor Dollarama have received any reports of illness or injury to Canadians related to the use of this product.

Approximately 130,065 units of the products were sold at various Dollarama stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from June 2006 to March 2010.
