Valentine Charm Bracelet by Dollarama
Product description
This recall involves a Valentine charm bracelet. The silver-coloured metallic bracelet has round metallic beads, red bead pendants, and heart-shaped pendants. The recalled bracelet can be identified by item number 07-0705273.
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada revealed that the recalled bracelet contains high levels of lead. Lead is very toxic to children even at low exposure levels. Children can ingest harmful amounts of lead when they chew, suck or swallow jewellery items containing lead.
Neither Health Canada nor Dollarama have received any reports of illness or injury to Canadians related to the use of this product.

Number sold
Approximately 6,288 of the recalled bracelets were sold at Dollarama stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from December 2007 to February 2010.
