Plush Graduation Bird and Plush Beanie Dog Toys

Product description

This recall involves 2 types of plush animal toys.

  • Plush yellow bird with a graduation cap and scroll sold under the brand name "Nicole's Toy Box". The plush toy has hard plastic eyes. This product can be identified by item number Q5PT308 and UPC 061366523084 on the tag attached to the toy.
  • Plush dog that is stuffed with a combination of soft filling and plastic beads, sold under the brand name "Toy Land". The plush toy has hard plastic eyes and a nose. This product can be identified by item number Q5PT243 and UPC 061366522438 on a white tag attached to the toy.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has identified that the hard eyes on the plush bird and the hard plastic nose on the plush dog can detach easily; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.

Neither Toy Land Company nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys.

Number sold

Approximately 520 of the plush yellow birds and 1,430 of the plush beanie dogs were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from March 2003 to May 2010.

What you should do
