This recall involves Vector Mini Glue Gun with item number item 625. The gun comes in black with a red plastic tip and a red trigger.
The label on the recalled Vector Glue Gun has no model number identified and the product includes an unauthorized ETL Intertek Mark without a control number.
Hazard identified
The affected products have not been evaluated to determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety, and may pose a safety hazard to consumers.
Neither Royal International Corporation nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 6,684 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from May 2011 to July 2011.
