This recall involves Sea Foam Motor Treatment for auto, marine, and fleet vehicles. The product comes in 16 Fl oz (1 pt) sized metal containers and can be identified by UPC code 018812000019 and the words "Part No. SF16" appearing above the bar code on the back of the container.

Hazard identified

The products do not have the mandatory labelling required under Canadian law.

This consumer chemical product lacks the applicable hazard symbols and warnings required by the Consumer Chemical and Container Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate hazard symbols and bilingual warnings on the label could result in unintentional exposure to these products or improper use and lead to serious illness or injury.

Neither Wal-Mart Canada nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.
