Product description

This recall involves Audio Fireplace MDF UVC by Beverly Hill International Inc. The fireplaces are grey in colour with SKU number 50765064.

Hazard identified

The air outlet opening is missing the protective grill; it has only a horizontal bar cover. This poses a safety hazard as the heated area is completely exposed which presents the risk of a burn or electric shock.

Neither Health Canada nor Beverly Hill International Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these fireplaces.

Number sold

More than 660 units of the affected fireplaces were sold at Rona stores across Canada.

Time period sold

The affected fireplaces were sold from August 2010 to July 2011.
