Blade 700 X Pro Series Remote Controlled Model Helicopters and Spindle Kit
This recall involves the Spindle washers of Blade 700 X Pro Series Combo and 700 X Pro Series Kit Remote Controlled Model Helicopters. They can be identified by model numbers: BLH5725 and BLH5725C.
The Spindle washers found in Spindle Kit for the Blade 700 X Pro Series Remote Controlled Model Helicopter, model number BLH5703 is also affected.
The washer which secures the main rotor grip to the main rotor head of the Blade 700 X Pro Series Combo and Pro Series Kit may fail causing the blades to release from the helicopter and may cause injury.
The Spindle Kit for the Blade 700 X Pro Series Remote Controlled Model Helicopter contains the washer to be installed to secure main rotor grip to the main rotor head which may fail and may cause the blades to release from the helicopter and may cause injury.
Horizon Hobby, Inc. has received two reports of failure of the washers. No injuries were reported.
Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries related to the use of this helicopter.
Approximately 18 units of the recalled helicopters were sold at hobby stores across Canada.

The recalled products were sold from July 2013 to August 2013.

What you should do
Customers should immediately stop using the helicopters and contact Horizon Hobby for a replacement washer along with instructions for replacement.
