Product description

This recall involves the Krups 4-slice Belgian Waffle Maker (Model F654). The waffle makers have a black and stainless steel exterior and can be identified by the UPC 010942117315 and reference code F6547551/3CA found on the identification plate.

Hazard identified

The affected waffle makers have not been tested to determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian standards for electrical product safety and may pose a safety hazard.

Neither Groupe SEB Canada nor Health Canada has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these waffle makers.

Number sold

Approximately 2,486 units of the affected waffle makers were sold by various retailers in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected waffle makers were sold from March 2013 to April 2014.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
