This recall involves heating pad model F1494 identified by brands “Ningbo Jinchun Electric Appliances Co. Ltd.” or “CVS”.
Hazard identified
The heating pad has a counterfeit cETLus Certification Mark and has not been evaluated by Intertek. It is unknown if this product is in compliance with the applicable safety standard.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Number sold
The number of units sold is unknown but it was sold at CVS stores in the United States and other retail and secondary market outlets.
