This voluntary recall involves Arbonne It's A Fine Line Liquid Eyeliner in the following shades and lot numbers:

The lot number is located at the bottom of the product.
Hazard identified
The recalled eyeliners contain the bacteria S.saprophyticus, S. lentus, and S. xylosis. These bacteria are a cause of infection in humans, although not commonly associated with infection in the eye.
Arbonne has received 5 reports of potential incidents or injuries associated with It’s A Fine Line Liquid Eye Liner.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadian related to the use of the recalled eyeliner.

7160 units of the recalled eyeliners were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled eyeliners were sold from April 14, 2016 to May 18, 2016 in Canada.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled eyeliners and dispose them in regular household garbage.

Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
