Product description
This recall involves the MasterCraft Work Platform. The product is 51 centimetres (20 inches) tall with a 30 X 91(12x36") centimetres non-slip deck and a 113 kg (250 lb) weight capacity. The platform doubles as a sawhorse or seating bench. The batch number can be found laser engraved on one of the four legs.

Hazard identified
The bolts on the product may break, causing the platform to collapse, posing a fall hazard to the consumer.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these platforms.
Canadian Tire has received three reports of a broken bolt, causing the platform to collapse. No injuries have been reported.
Number sold
Approximately 95,918 units (includes batches not affected by recall) were sold in Canadian Tire stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected batches were sold from 2013 to 2016.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the affected MasterCraft Work Platform and return them to their local Canadian Tire store for a refund.
