Product description
This recall involves Honda brand outboard engines used to power boats. The engines are silver in colour with “Honda” printed in black on the side of the engine.

Hazard identified
The float in the vapour separator chamber may crack causing the vapour separator to overfill. This could result in the fuel overflowing from the vent tube and leaking from the cover of the outboard motor, posing a fire hazard.
As of October 30, 2017, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Approximately 36 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected engine and return it to a Honda Marine dealer for a free repair.
