Hazard identified
The load bearing bolt that attaches the TV mounting plate to the arm may fail which could result in the television separating from the mount. If the television becomes separated from the mount, it may fall which could result in injury or property damage.
As of October 26, 2017, the company has received 5 reports of property damage as a result of the TV separating from the Nexxtech 17-42" Full-Motion Flat Panel TV Mount. The company has not received any reports related to the Nexxtech 17-42" Tilt TV Wall Mount. No reports of injuries were received for either product.

Approximately 8132 units of the Nexxtech 17-42" Full-Motion Flat Panel TV Mount and 1951 units of the Nexxtech 17-42" Tilt TV Wall Mount were sold in Canada.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the Nexxtech 17-42" Full-Motion Flat Panel TV Mount and the Nexxtech 17-42" Tilt TV Wall Mount. Consumers are directed to carefully remove the television and the mount from the wall and return the mount to the nearest The Source retail location for a refund or exchange.
Consumers can also contact The Source Customer Care team at 1-866-515-5855, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. EST or Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST.
