Product description

This recall concerns various soft toys made by Les Nonochoux.

The recall applies to the following products:

  • Nonochoux Bunny (Bing, Bob)
  • Nonochoux Cowboy (Bandito)
  • Nonochoux Panda
  • Nonochoux Princess
  • Nonochoux Indian (Woup-woup)
  • Nonochoux Owl
  • Nonochoux Pirate
  • Nonochoux Frosty (Snowman)
  • Nonochoux Unicorn (Guillaume)
  • Nonochoux Fox (Norbert)
  • Nonochoux Cat (Grey cat)
  • Nonochoux Butterfly (Flappy)
  • Nonochoux Rose with flower (Fleurette)

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the affected products do not meet the Canadian safety requirements for toys.  Health Canada’s testing found that the eyes may possibly detach from the toy, posing a choking hazard to young children.

As of April 12, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 250 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from 2016 to April 2018.

Place of origin

Manufactured in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately put the recalled toys out of reach of children and either contact Les Nonochoux for a refund or dispose of the product.
