Product description
The Pull-Back Speedy Jet is a wooden airplane with a blue painted body, natural wood wings and plastic wheels with rubber tires. The toy features a pull-back feature that propels it forward. The model number and lot code is printed on the bottom of the plane. The recall is limited to the lot code 155400 EJ.
Hazard identified
The rubber tires can separate from the wheels posing a small parts choking hazard for small children.
As of July 24, 2018 the company has received no reports of the rubber tires separating in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received two reports of the rubber tires separating and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 936 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 5 100 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled toys were sold from August 2017 to June 2018 in Canada and the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toy and return it to the store where it was purchased or contact Manhattan Toy for a full refund.
