Orange Whip Full-Size and Mid-Size Swing Trainer

Product description

The recalled trainers have a black grip and flexible shaft with a weighted orange ball attached to it. The Full-Size Swing Trainer measures 120 centimetres (47 inches) in length and the Mid-Size Swing Trainer measures 110 centimetres (43 inches) in length.

The recalled trainers have a batch number in the range from 772 to 792.  The batch number is printed on the inside of the counterweight steel ball (white or gold colour) attached to the grip end of the Orange Whip. In order to read the batch number, the counterweight steel ball must be unscrewed by hand.

Hazard identified

The orange ball can detach from the trainer while in use, posing an injury hazard to the user and bystanders.

As of August 3, 2018, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 252 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from November 2, 2017 to February 1, 2018.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled golf swing trainers and contact Jancor Industries or Jimmy Hack Golf to receive a free replacement product.  A return shipping tag will be provided upon request.
