Backrest support telescoping bars potentially fail in certain instances. The backrest support telescoping bars allow for the adjustment of the backrest height. Reports received consist of 1 or both back canes on the PS Backrest Frame Assembly, having broken while end-user is seated in the device. When this reported failure occurs, reports indicate the partial or complete detachment of the back frame from the seating which allows the end-user to lose positioning and fall backwards.
