Product description

This recall involves four styles of Boy Story action dolls.  These include Mason and Billy Action Dolls and Mason & Billy HeForShe Special Edition Action Dolls. The recalled dolls are 10 cm long by 18 cm wide by 46 cm high.  They came with outfits consisting of a button-up shirt, white t-shirt and jeans. Boy Story LLC is stamped on the left foot of each doll.

Hazard identified

The joints on the vinyl dolls can break, creating broken pieces that pose a choking hazard to young children.

As of September 14, 2018, the company has received about 40 reports of the vinyl breaking on the joints, and no reports of injuries in Canada or the United States.

Number sold

Approximately 40 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 8500 were sold in the United States.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from December 2016 to May 2018 in Canada and the United States.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
