Affected products

This recall involves LÍLLÉbaby Active series baby carriers.

Product description

These carriers can be worn with the baby strapped on the caregiver's chest or back. The recalled carriers are the Active Series-Pro 6 in 1 in Space Dye Cobalt and Space Dye Grey and the Active All Seasons in Slate. Each carrier has two yellow coloured tags which are labelled with "LÍLLÉ baby".

Hazard identified

The sliding chest-clip strap can detach from the shoulder strap, posing a fall hazard to the child in the carrier.

As of November 07, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Number sold

Approximately 10 units of the affected products were sold at Stork and Bundle, Lil' Monkey Cheeks, and Babes in Arms retailers in Canada as well as online at LILLEbaby.com and Amazon.ca.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from September 2018 to October 2018.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected baby carriers and contact LÍLLÉbaby to receive a free replacement baby carrier and a full refund. All known purchasers will be notified directly about the recall.
