Ottawa, November 10, 2014 - The food recall warning issued on October 31, 2014, has been updated to include additional lot codes. This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) food safety investigation.
B.H. Kosher Select Food Dist. is recalling Ortega brand Taco Seasoning Mix from the marketplace because it contains peanut and almond which are not declared on the label. People with an allergy to peanut or almond should not consume the recalled product described below.
What you should do
Check to see if you have recalled product in your home. Recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
If you have an allergy to peanut or almond, do not consume the recalled product as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

Background
